A finished knit! Whew it had been a long time. This is what I call Curly's Shrug. In reality it is the Baby Shrug from Simply Baby by Debbie Bliss.

Let me state that I substituted yarn, though remaining in the Aran and Debbie Bliss lines. The pattern calls for two balls to complete a 3-6 month size. Slight fib there (unless of course the Cashmerino Aran has more yardage than the Merino Aran, which in all honesty, I have not verified). This necessitated a return trip to the yarn shop for a third ball. Other than some risky business picking up stitches along the edges, this shrug went off without a hitch. Quick, easy and cute. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

I have attempted this sweater and am almost done but can't see where the arms are supposed to go, or wher the side seams are supposed to be. Is there any tips you can give as to sewing it up? It looks like the back has a long piece and the arms are very short looking! I believe I have followed the pattern but I am just not seeing it. You don't have a picture of before you sewed it up, do you??
If you could email it to me at laura_0613@hotmail.com or just your response, that would be great! Thanks!

The arms are short, I am thinking a 3/4 length. Once you get the edging on it will all make sense. The tip for sewing up is to be patient. I had to pin it several times and re-sew once. Sorry, no before photos.
